Age of empires 2 the application was unable to start correctly

The Application was Unable to Start Correctly (0xc00007b ...

The thing is, when I start the game (and let it update of course), I am getting nothing more than a error box with a statement "The application was unable to start correctly", and the error code 0xc000007b. I was looking for some solution on the net, and actually found plenty, but none of them really worked, I am still getting the error mentioned above.
